CGC Cards Featured Registry Set: Tom Brady Graded
Posted on 9/7/2023
For the first time in over 20 years, the NFL won't have Tom Brady as a starting quarterback. After more than two decades of leading his teams to the playoffs on an annual basis, the landscape of the league looks very different this season. As the iconic quarterback enjoys retirement, Mor4Less has accumulated an impressive collection of CGC-certified cards called Tom Brady Graded, which span his Hall of Fame-worthy career. Don’t miss our Q&A with the set owner here.
Brady was selected 199th overall in the 2000 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. In only his second season, the iconic QB led the Pats to their first Super Bowl title. As the primary starter for 18 seasons, Brady led New England to 17 division titles, 13 AFC Championship Games, nine Super Bowl appearances and six Super Bowl titles, all NFL records for a player and franchise.
In 2020, Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and immediately led them to the Super Bowl in his first season under center with a new team, winning the seventh Lombardi Trophy of his storied career. He holds numerous major quarterback records, including most career passing yards, completions and touchdown passes. Brady is also the NFL leader in career quarterback wins, quarterback regular season wins, quarterback playoff wins and Super Bowl MVP awards.

Q&A with the CGC Cards Registry Set Owner
How did you get into collecting sports cards?
In the early '90s, I worked part-time in a sports card shop. I made no money working there — lol.
What are your favorite sports teams and/or athletes to follow?
I started following the Patriots in 1993 when they drafted Drew Bledsoe, and the rest is history. So, the New England Patriots — primarily Tom Brady for grading, but I collect all Patriots.
What was your favorite card once you got into collecting?
It's funny to look back on, but in 1993, it was anything Drew Bledsoe.
Do you have a different favorite card now?
Any Tom Brady rookie card.
Is there a card out there you're hoping to add to your collection?
2000 Contenders Tom Brady — I had one, but tough times called for tough decisions.
What do you enjoy most about adding your cards to the CGC Cards Registry?
Being able to share the success of your collection and see what other collectors have. I am very excited about my collection with the CGC Cards Registry knowing I only have one player, Tom Brady, in my collection compared to others with multiple different players and teams.
What would you say to other sports card collectors who may be on the fence about adding their cards to the CGC Cards Registry?
We are anticipating CGC Cards being the top dog of the grading companies soon. I have busted out cards from other grading companies to be graded by CGC Cards.
