The 2025 NFL regular season has officially kicked off! The first full weekend of pro football is behind us, and the Buffalo Bills have already stolen headlines once again, led by their star quarterback Josh Allen. Following his Week 1 heroics against the Baltimore Ravens in what could already be the game of the season, Allen and his teammates look poised for another playoff run, as they try to get over the hump and make it back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1994.
Buffalo selected Allen out of Wyoming in the 2018 NFL Draft with the seventh overall pick, immediately helping to turn around a franchise that had struggled for decades. Now, the team is a perennial playoff contender once again, with the Bills facing lofty expectations year in and year out. After winning five straight AFC East conference titles, it's Super Bowl or bust in Buffalo, since Allen's elite play sets high expectations for his team each season. Coming off his first-ever NFL MVP season in 2024, the dual-threat QB is still as clutch as they come under center, proven by his astounding 14 fourth quarter comebacks and 22 game-winning drives.

Among current players in the NFL, Allen is one of the most collected stars. With a dedicated and fervent fanbase in Buffalo (especially the Bills Mafia) and a huge contingent of fans and collectors around the country, the beloved 29-year-old quarterback's collectibles are highly sought after each season.
As is the case with any athlete, Allen's rookie cards are some of the most coveted issues among the hundreds of cards tied to the quarterback's career, and so are the short-printed parallels. Cards like the Lazer variation of his 2018 Panini Prizm #205 rookie card and the White Die-cut version of his 2020 Panini Select #222 card are great examples of these, with each of the set owner's examples earning Top Pop recognition.

Of course, no Player Set is complete without at least a few cards that include jersey patches or other game relics. Autographed cards can be a centerpiece of any Player Set, and this set owner has examples tied to Allen's college and pro careers. His 2018 Panini Luminance Rookie Ink issue shows an in-game shot of Allen while playing for the Wyoming Cowboys and also includes the player's signature. Allen's autographed cards from his pro career are even more sought after.
