The most iconic boxing set of all time and boy what a great piece of history. (Take Me Back) It is estimated that in 1938 there were less than 10,000 T.V.'s in the United States (1938 Population 129,825,000). If a kid wanted to see his favorite boxer, he would have to lift one of these tobacco cards off his old man's tobacco pouch. The beautiful thing about collecting vintage today is the many of years these cards were handled and how well these cards are preserved over the years throughout a time when collecting/trading was merely fun to now when the condition of that card brings value to the hobby.
